The Board of Education adopted a Proposed 2018-2019 Budget at its budget work session on Thursday, April 12, 2018. The budget totals $166,574,338. This represents a 2.37% increase in the budget from the current school year's spending plan. The proposal also includes a district wide tax levy increase of 1.81%. 

The public will vote on the budget Tuesday, May 15 from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Van Cortlandtville Elementary School, Main Street, Mohegan Lake.
The 2018-2019 Budget Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 1 in the Administration Building at 7:00 PM.

The Board of Education will hold its regular business meeting on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lincoln-Titus Elementary School, 10 Lincoln Ave., Crompond. The meeting is open to the public and there are two opportunities for public comment.  Links Public Comment guidelines and BOE meeting agenda. The next Board of Education meeting scheduled is a public Budget Hearing on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in the Administration Building at 7:00 p.m.  The Budget and Trustee vote will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in the Van Cortlandtville Elementary School from 7 AM to 9 PM.

Budget and Trustee Vote

The 2018-2019  Budget and Trustee Vote will be held on Tuesday, May  25 from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm at the Van Cortlandtville  Elementary School, 3100 E. Main St., Mohegan Lake (across from the Cortlandt Town Center).

Kindness Awareness Day May 1
Lakeland will hold its first annual Kindness Awareness day on Tuesday, May 1 in all our schools.  The day will highlight the acts of kindness that take place daily in our schools. Scheduled activities are in partnership with school parent organizations.
