FIFTH GRADE MOVING UP CAR PARADE
FOR FIFTH GRADE FAMILIES ONLY

Dear Parents/Guardians,
As the school year draws to a close, our Fifth Graders were scheduled to have one of their special events of a Moving-Up Ceremony. This year, due to the orders of the Governor
regarding school closures, social distancing and gatherings; we will be completing our Moving-Up Ceremony through a video which will be shared with all of you in a few
weeks.

In addition to the Moving-Up video we are able to hold a Fifth Grade Car Parade for each class. You may have seen this referenced in an email from Dr. Stone. The event will be
held on Thursday, June 11th at Lincoln-Titus Elementary School. Due to the restrictions regarding gatherings we cannot have families outside of their cars and we can only have a
limited number of staff present for the parade. Each class has a designated time for their parade:

5M will be 12:00 PM line up one car per family at Bowling Alley parking area off of Route 202 and 12:15 PM parade up parking lot with Officer Lepore leading the way to
turn right into oval around school and out Lincoln Avenue to depart.
5S will be 12:30 PM line up one car per family at Bowling Alley parking area off of Route 202 and 12:45 PM parade up parking lot with Officer Lepore leading the way to turn right into oval around school and out Lincoln Avenue to depart.
5W will be 1:00 PM line up one car per family at Bowling Alley parking area off of Route 202 and 1:15 PM parade up parking lot with Officer Lepore to turn right into oval around school and out Lincoln Avenue to depart.
5N will be 1:30 line up one car per family at Bowling Alley parking area off of Route 202 and 1:45 PM parade up parking lot to turn right into oval around school and out Lincoln
Avenue to depart.

Thank you in advance for your help in making this special occasion a wonderful day.
Lastly, it has been a pleasure getting to know the fifth grade students and their families. The staff of Lincoln-Titus wishes you all much happiness as your child moves to the next step in their lives.

Good luck and good fortune in Middle School,

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As the school year draws to a close I want to take a moment and thank all of our families for your support, assistance, patience and working together for our children this school year. This year has been like no other – and hopefully not to be the same in September.

The teachers and administration have learned so much in this process. We have tried to respect the differences each family is experiencing, but hoping and helping the students to continue to grow and learn. As Dr. Stone has sent out, the school year completes on Wednesday, June 17 th . We hope each of our families have a restful summer and look forward to seeing the children next school year.

All student items from the classrooms were packaged and either picked up by families or dropped off at homes through transportation. There were families who returned library and/or Matilda books on the pick-up days. If you did not bring the books, please no worries. Tuesday, June 9 th we will have boxes
outside of the school for the book drop off. If you are available, boxes will be available between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. If you are unable to make the June 9 th date – the books may be returned in September.

As we close out this school year, we wish the best to our UPK students and families who will be moving on to their respective home school buildings. We look forward to seeing our LTES UPK students returning in September. To our Grade Five students and families, we wish you the best at LCBMS and beyond.

May all be safe and healthy,

Principal Message:
Dear Parents/Guardians,
On behalf of the Lincoln-Titus Staff we are sending our best wishes to all of our families and hoping you are doing well. The staff continues to support your children through this unique learning process with the hope they are able to progress, but more importantly staying healthy physically and emotionally.
At this time we are working with the specials teachers to give your children the balance of the physical, art, library and musical outlets they may be missing. Please note the specials teachers are posting in the K-5 classrooms activities and lessons that can be done at any time that works for your child and you. The teachers are available to respond to your child’s or your questions in the Google Classroom on the days your children would have had that special. To try and be cognizant of all the challenges a specials schedule during this remote learning period may add; they are listed in a Monday through Friday Weekly Schedule.
Please click here to download the letter and view the schedule for K-5:
For our UPK families the specials teachers will continue to work with your teacher to send material through the UPK teacher emails.

I thank all of our families for the teamwork and support you have given to our staff. They are working hard to navigate this new environment and we will continue to work to give that balance of academic and emotional support as we move towards the day we can be back at school. We hope our Wellness Wednesday videos, STEAM Friday activity and other upcoming ideas help in a positive way.
Be well & be safe –
