The Board of Education will hold the first of four budget meetings/work sessions on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the Administration Building. Topics include: Operation and Maintenance, Transportation, and General Support budgets. The budget meetings will be held January through April. All budget work sessions begin at 7:00 pm. The remaining budget schedule is: February 7, March 7, and April 4.

The Administration Building is located at 1086 East Main Street in Shrub Oak. The budget meeting is open to the public and discussion is permitted on budget topics.  Go to Board Docs to download the agenda.

The next regular Board of Education meeting is a business meeting to be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in Lakeland High School at 7:30 p.m.

Feeding Westchester
Feeding Westchester offers fresh protein, dairy, produce and grains each month to individuals and families, free of charge, in the community. The food pantry will be at Wednesday, December 19 from 4 PM to 5 PM. Food distribution will be located near the front entrance of the school.  Monthly, the Feeding Westchester Mobile Food Pantry will be present on George Washington Elementary School. Please check the following websites for additional dates and details:  www.feedingwestchester.org

The Lakeland Central School District will hold a Community Forum regarding  Lakeland and Walter Panas High School site and field Improvement projects on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at 7 PM in the Van Cortlandtville Elementary School auditorium.  The agenda will include: information on the projects' plans and designs, questions will be addressed and an opportunity to express your opinions.
