Van Cort PTA welcomes you!
Our parent group would not be successful without all of our wonderful volunteers! The PTA is a partnership among parents and school staff with a shared goal of creating a better learning environment for our children. Becoming a member of the PTA does not obligate you to attend meetings or volunteer for activities, but participation in our meetings and programs will help enrich the education of your own children.
The VCES PTA helps support many events, and programs throughout the year including:
Kindergarten Bus Run, Grade Level Activity Nights, Theater Program, Trunk or Treat, Winter Wonderland, Holiday Shops, Multicultural Night, Color Run, Author Visits, Book Fairs, Yearbook, School Pictures, School Carnival, and much more! We are able to support these events and programs through fundraising, such as our catalog fundraisers, Spiritwear sales, Homestyle pie sales, membership dues, and generous donations.
Our dues are $10 for a single membership and $15 per household (2 parents). A portion of the membership costs are used to pay our dues to both the State and National PTA; the remainder is put directly into the programs we support.
