Bobby Mayclim
Bobby Mayclim (Lakeland Panas Boys Cross Country): Section 1, Class A Champion
Walter Panas junior and team captain, Bobby Mayclim, had a fantastic year for the Lakeland Panas Boys Cross Country Team. Coming off a leg injury in the spring, he was able to recover and compete at a high level. From the first meet of the year in early September to the Westchester County Championships at the end of October, Bobby never finished below second place. Battling sickness for the final two races of the season, Bobby was able to finish sixth overall in Class A at the Sectional Championships to qualify for the NYSPHSAA State Championships. Once at the StateChampionship, a 30th overall finish in Class A (47th in the overall merge) saw him named to the New York State Federation meet. Bobby was able to overcome injuries and ran one of the best seasons in Rebel Cross Country history. Congrats Bobby on a job well done!

School Board Recognition Week (Oct 17-21)

This week is School Board Recognition Week. Did you know that combined, our current Board Trustees have volunteered on behalf of LCSD for over 35 years?

It takes strong schools to build a strong community, and these men and
women devote countless hours to making sure all Lakeland students achieve educational excellence. They make tough decisions every month and spend many hours studying education issues and regulations in order to provide the kind of accountability our community deserves.

Tonight, our district salutes the Lakeland Central School District Board of
Education members for their dedication and service to our community.
