6145 Prohibition of Discrimination against Individuals with Disabilities
The Lakeland Central School District Board of Education reaffirms its historical commitment to the free and appropriate education of all children residing within the District. The Board of Education further reaffirms that is does not discriminate against persons with disabilities.
In accordance with Section 200.2 of the Commissioner’s Regulations, all students with disabilities residing within the Lakeland Central School District shall have an opportunity to participate in school district programs. This access to programs shall include all extra-curricular and curricular activities and programs that are available to other students enrolled in the public schools in the District.
