In the classic tragedy, Macbeth, Shakespeare shows us the power of belief in the supernatural through his portrayal of the witches, the floating dagger, and the appearance of Banquo’s ghost.
In Shakespeare’s Macbeth, we see the traditional spiraling fall of the protagonist through the murders of Duncan, Banquo, and the Macduff family.
Symbols, such as weather, blood, and water reveal the theme of ‘discord in nature’, illustrating the terrible events occurring in Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, Macbeth.
