Step Four:  Going through the Process
(College Application)


What is involved in filling out those forms? What information do I need? Where do I get that information? What information does my guidance counselor need to fill out? Identify what steps you can take to increase your chances and what steps you must take to apply.

1. Choose one school from your list.

  • Request an application form on-line.

    Some applications are available for download from the college-site home page; some application forms are available in the guidance office. Many schools accept the Common Application, which is both downloadable and available in our Career Center in the Guidance Office. (You do not want to formally apply to the college now - be careful that you are not submitting an online application!)

  • Complete the application form to include in your Portfolio.
