· All course reading done aloud, in class
· Multi-sensory approach to instruction
· Frequent repetition and practice
· Modification of length of assignments
· Study guides
· Additional time spent on units as needed
· Tasks broken down into smaller parts
· All directions read and explained
· Frequent checking for understanding
· Check work in progress
· Notes provided on overhead
· Refocus and re-direct students
· Adjust content to accommodate time constraints
· Provide strategies to accommodate various learning styles
· Additional modifications as per student’s IEP
