You
have recently graduated from the "Culinary Institute of America" in Hyde Park
New York. Your dream has always been to have your own restaurant overlooking
the banks of the Hudson River. You have inherited a beautiful piece of
property along the Hudson in Cold Spring from your rich uncle along with one
million dollars. You decide to build a restaurant on the inherited property!
However there is one major problem, you are surrounded by many exclusive restaurants.
You have a fabulous idea! You will open an Italian restaurant.
However, you do not want to have a run of the mill Italian restaurant and serve
only the typical Italian foods of spaghetti and meatballs or pizza.
Your restaurant will be special! You decide to have a menu that
will focus on a particular region of Italy and its cooking.
What better way then to travel to Italy with some of the money that you inherited
and do the research for your menu. You leave your partners in charge of
the building project and off you go to spend two months sampling all of Italy's
