The Renaissance
is an important period in Italian history. It was a "rebirth" of
learning and a period in history where there was a return to the study
of ancient Greek and Roman ideas.
There were many important personalities
that were an influential force during the Renaissance.
These personalities included politicians, artists, sculptors, inventors
and scientists.
