Two Lakeland/Panas Track Athletes Win State Titles Lakeland/Panas' Brie Roller won the 600 meter race and Carissa Leonardi captured the pole vault in the New York State Track Championships this weekend at Cornell University. Brie needed 1 minute, 35.75 seconds to win the 600-meter crown Saturday. Carissa won her event with a 12-foot vault. Also competing in the meet were Jorge Garcia(LHS) and Andrew Federowitz (WPHS). Jorge Garcia placed 2nd in as part of the Intersectional medley relay. He came from behind and brought his team from 4th place to nearly catching the first place team from Section 3. Andrew Federowicz also placed 14th out of 35 jumpers in the Long Jump.
