A Message to Attendees at Conference Presentations

New York State Reading Association - November 9, 2001 in Syracuse, NY

New York State Association for Computers and Technology in Education - November 17 - 21 in Albany, NY

I hope that you enjoyed the presentation, "Supporting Literacy Through Technology." You were an excellent audience! I would love your feeback - any comments or questions would be greatly appreciated. Send me a message via e-mail to lbrandon@lakelandschools.org

I have added a couple of links to this page that were not on the handout which you received at the conference presentation. Time for Kids, listed with the last grouping, is an excellent resource for content area learning. The site is well-maintained, updated continuously, and contains excellent resources for students and teachers. Note that you can register for free, and receive updates on a regular basis.

I also added Scholastic.com to the list - what an oversight that was! There are sections for students, parents and teachers, and each one is rich with literary resources for students up to middle school age.

I publish an online newsletter each week with information for educators. If you would like to subscribe, just send me an e-mail and let me know.

Again, I would love to hear from you.

Sincerely,

Linda Brandon
