If you are unsure which school your child will be attending, please contact our Transportation Department at 914-528-4445 extension 39661 or 39662 to verify. Once you have completed and submitted the required information, along with all required documents, the school registrar will contact you to finalize the registration. Universal Pre-K (UPK) Registration for School Year 2021-2022
Our program serves students of the Lakeland Central School District who will be 4 years of age by December 1, 2021. The program is developmentally appropriate and is designed to meet universal standards for Pre-K students in areas of pre-reading skills, early numeracy skills, fine and gross motor skills, and social skills necessary for transition to school age programs. Those wishing to register a child for UPK for the 2021-2022 school year select the online registration packet labeled “UPK Registration 21-22”. You will also be required to fill out a UPK questionnaire. Both can be found below. When completing the registration form, please select “Pre-K” as the enrollment grade and select your child’s home building as the enrollment school. Your child’s home building is the building they will be attending kindergarten. Once you have completed and submitted the required information, the school registrar will contact you to finalize the registration. You are asked to bring the UPK questionnaire when meeting with the registrar to verify documentation. If you have any questions, please contact the registrar.

Request for Transportation to Non-Public School
New York State School Law requires that a written request be made EACH YEAR for transportation to a non-public school. Parent or legal guardian prior to April 1st of the upcoming school year must submit this request to the Transportation Department. The only exception is when families move into the district later then the April 1st in which case the request should be made within 30 days after establishing residency within the district. If your home residence is beyond 15 miles from the school of request, it is best suggested that you contact the transportation office @ (914) 528-4445 for details.
