Congratulations to our girls bowling team who swept Yorktown yesterday 7 – 0. Daniela Grajeda had a 122, Kasie Nolan a 123, Jenna McMahon a 172 and Doreen Cirillo and Vicky Turner both bowled an awesome 199. The boys split points with Yorktown. Brendan Perkins had a 207, Tom Senerchia a 172, Paul Cirillo a 251 and David Halperin a 268. In their next match, both teams will bowl for the league title – good luck!
LHS students who intend to take a Regents exam in January please speak to your teacher, Guidance Counselor or come to the main office to get your testing time and location.
The Freshman class is selling “Sticky Wallets” for $5.00 in the Fine Arts Hallway by the Cafeteria during 4th period. Come and check them out!
The GSA Club will meet this afternoon at 2:00 pm in room 148. All interested LHS students are invited to attend.

The Project CODA/SADD Club meeting will be held on Monday, January 23rd at 2:30 pm. Please make every effort to attend and bring your friends!
Attention Seniors – the Senior apparel store will be open for orders through January 29. This will absolutely be the last time Seniors can order senior apparel. Please see Mr. Fallo or Mr. Cappelli with any questions.

Thursday – CULTURE DAY (dress according to your background/culture)
ATTENTION ALL LHS AP STUDENTS - ORDER YOUR AP EXAM/S NOW - DON’T BE LEFT OUT IN THE COLD!!! This year all LHS students must order their AP Exams online by registering at the Total Registration website. Registration closes on February 1st. Please see your AP teacher for details.
ATTENTION LHS ATHLETES, will you be ready for tryouts on March 13th? You must have a current physical (dated from March 1, 2016) to try out. If you are using your own physician the nurse must have an updated physical turned in by February 24th. If you would like to schedule an appointment with the school physician please see the nurse ASAP. If you need medication you must obtain physician orders and parent written consent for this school year and that must also be turned into the nurse by February 24th. Registration online opens Friday, February 24th and closes on Monday, March 6th. Any other questions please see Mrs. DeVito in the nurse’s office.
Attention senior boys, if you are interested in performing in the Mr. Lakeland competition you must sign up with Mr. Fallo or Mr. Cappelli by the end of the day today. The first 12 boys who sign up and are approved by Administration and the Senior class advisors will be scheduled to perform on March 9th. If you are approved to be an alternate to perform, you will be notified in case a spot opens up.
On January 27 the Tech Center will have an early dismissal at 10:00 am for Professional Development. THERE WILL BE NO MIDDLE AND AFTERNOOON TECH SESSIONS.
