Kindergarten
Computer Awareness
Technology
Benchmark IV: The student is an effective
communicator through a variety of appropriate technologies/media.
- Publishing:
Design, develop, publish, and present multimedia and online products
using technology resources that demonstrate and communicate curriculum
concepts to audiences inside and outside the classroom
The
entire class will contribute to a project, such as a bulletin board or
class book. With assistance, students will design, develop, and publish
work. An example of this might be an alphabet book created in KidPix that
the class adds to over time as new sounds and words are presented and
learned. For an example, you can show the class one at Enchanted
Learning: Dinosaur Alphabet.
For multimedia,
student work could be uploaded to the Lakeland or school website or shared
via e-mail with an audience outside of the classroom.
