Day 1

Our class is studying the plant cycle. We have planted three different seeds, the pumpkin, the pea, and the lima bean. We can’t wait to see if they grow.

Day 5

The class is so happy that many plants have begun to grow! We are carefully studying them, measuring them, and trying to determine which ones are which.

Day 10

Oh, how our plants are growing! We continue to measure the growth of each plant. We also make sure to give it plenty of water, in addition to the sunlight that each plant needs to grow.

Day 15

Our plants are so big now, we wonder how we will get them home. We are so proud that we have taken good care of our plants and they have grown so big and strong. The next part of this cycle would be for the plants’ flowers to make more seeds so that our plant cycle can begin again.

We are so surprised that the plant has grown as much as it has! We notice however, that it is white. Without sunlight, the plant will never be green.

We notice that the plant has not grown as well without water.
